The Group is mainly composed of researchers in Quaternary Geology from low-GDP countries based in South America and showing interest on international participation. A core group of researchers are in charge of a particular research area. It is important to bring relevant research sub-groups together to obtain cross-disciplinary and cross-regional correlation of geological records in different settings of South America.
